Wings Air Mulls Opening Flight Route to Sumenep

The management of Wings Abadi, also known as Wings Air, plans to survey facilities at Trunojoyo Sumenep Airport, Madura Island as a follow up of their business development plan to open the commercial flight route from Surabaya to Sumenep.


"We have already communicated to us about the facility survey plan at Trunojoyo Airport and they will immediately go to Sumenep for the survey," said Head Unit of Trunojoyo Sumenep Airport Class Operator, Wahyu Siswoyo by phone on Sunday (16/7/2017) night.


He said the survey of airport facilities is a necessity for airlines that will open new aviation commercial routes.


Previously, Wings Air management requested the Trunojoyo Airport Authority to provide commercial airline slots on the Sumenep-Surabaya route.
