Mandala Air takes over Batavia's flights

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PEKANBARU - Low-cost airline, Mandala Air, takes over all routes of Batavia Air after the airline was declared bankrupt by Jakarta Court on January 30. Immediately after the decision, Batavia Air ceased operation and abandoned hundreds of passengers.

"Mandala Air officially acquires Batavia Air and will be operating today. It is a solution for the abandoned Batavia Air's consumers," Retail Sales Manager of Mandala Air, Made Lesmana, said on Friday.
