PT KAI's new Argo Cheribon to start operating on Aug. 16

State-owned railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) is to launch a rebranded train called the Argo Cheribon on Aug. 16.
According to kompas.com, the Argo Cheribon is a combination of three trains: the KA Argojati, Cirebon Ekspress and Tegal Bahari.
PT KAI’s operational region (DAOP) III Cirebon public relations manager Kuswardoyo said that Argo Cheribon would be a single-service train comprising executive and economy classes.
He said the rebranding allowed the train to offer additional 840 seats per day.
