Flying can be lots of fun but can be quite uncomfortable too, especially when your destination is far away and you will be spending a lot of time inside the plane. Most airlines try to provide some comfortably facilities, but you still are packed with hundreds of people in a small aircraft with limited room to move. Here are some easy tips to make your journey more comfortable.

Pick a comfortable seat

If your destination is far away from where you are now, try to pick a comfortable seat for yourself. You can consult this to your travel agent where you buy the ticket. Maybe it will cost you more, but anything for a comfortable flight, right?

Bring portable wet towel and wet wipes

You can refresh yourself by using wet towel or wet wipes. The pressure is getting higher during the flight and the air dryer, causing you to loose body fluids so your skin will get dry. Wipe your face and hands to make your body fresher.

Bring some foods and beverages

Most airlines provide free meals an drinks for you, but there are several times when you get hungry or thirsty at a time when nothing is being served. Therefore, bring some food, especially snacks like chocolate or candy. You are not allowed to carry drinks on board the airplane anymore but what you can do is empty a water bottle before boarding and when inside the airplane ask the flight attendents if you may fill your bottle.

Stretch your body

Sitting hours in a plane will make your muscles strained. Therefore you need to do some stretching you can do this in your seat or take a walk. You can walk through the aisle just to loosen up your muscle.

Don't use your contact lenses

The air inside the plane is very dry because of the air conditioner, this will make your eyes dry too. It is inconvenient to take off your contact lenses every time your eyes get dry and start to hurt. It may not look as pretty but better wear your glasses while aboard an airplane.

Take off your shoes

You might be surprised how comfortable it is to take your shoes off, your foot will be free to move so it will not get swollen. But make sure you wear clean socks and have an extra pair in your handluggage. Due to the airflow in the airplane it is quite cold near the floor and you can use the extra pair if you get cold feet or if your feet are bit smelly.... :)
